In today’s Business environment, ThoughtBytes believes that your company/organization presence starts with an internet domain and website. This contrasts with the past where a website might be one arm of your marketing plan. Today, many customers, partners, and affiliates rely on the internet and your unique business domain e-mail to find, contact, and interact with you.

Accordingly, we recommend that you secure your URL and establish a strong website presence to establish and promote your business. We can help you with this in a cost-effective, usable, and easy to maintain way.

Many companies choose to use a traditional marketing firm to design/create their websites. Typically these firms create a beautiful design. Then it is left to the website programmers/coders to make the site work. Very often this leads to a site that is hard and costly to maintain. You see these sites all the time where the client company chooses not to update the content on their site due to the hassle and expense.

In contrast, ThoughtBytes chooses to design from a function-first perspective. This allows us to create a site that is flexible, easy to maintain, and cost-effective. This is not to say that your site will not be attractive, it will. But you will be confident that you can keep your site information up to date as well as easily expand your site’s functionality as your needs grow.

ThoughtBytes was founded in 1996 by Raj Mitra. Mr. Mitra has twenty years of experience in information technology. Raj started his career as a programmer after earning college degrees in both computer science and business management. He quickly moved into software development and design. Later responsibilities include all areas of corporate information technology both technical (hardware) and logical (business management and planning). Raj’s final responsibility as a corporate employee was project management and support of international divisional offices of a large multinational corporation. From there Raj joined a separate consulting firm as a consultant and project manager. Finally, Mr. Mitra desired to start consulting in a manner that fit his values and philosophy. This lead to the formation of ThoughtBytes Consulting, Inc.

ThoughtBytes has played a significant role in many large domestic and international information technology projects. The majority of these have involved the SAP R/3 ERP software.

Separately, ThoughtBytes has worked with smaller businesses on department-level solutions and software concepts.
